After a two year detailed, thoughtful renovation, we are proud to announce the grand opening of The Inn at Richiș – a beautifully restored 300‑year‑old Saxon home in the heart of the historic village of Richiș, Transylvania, where time slows, tradition lives on, and rest, relaxation, and romance come naturally.
At the heart of the Inn lies our recently renovated 300‑year‑old wine cellar, now complemented by a newly built soba, the traditional Transylvanian stove that radiates warmth and comfort. There is nothing quite like sitting around the soba on a quiet evening, sipping a glass of local Romanian wine, Țuică, or Vișinată, as flickering firelight dances against centuries‑old stone walls.
Step outside into our peaceful courtyard—a serene place to relax, unwind, and reconnect—while enjoying expansive views of the village and the timeless Saxon church steeple rising above the rooftops. Whether day or night, the courtyard invites moments of stillness, best savored with a wonderful glass of locally produced Romanian wine.
