Room 1- Simon Neman’s Room
Located on the ground floor with an entrance from the courtyard. This room is very spacious with a generously sized bathroom with a large walk in shower. This room is named after the Saxon gentlemen from Richis who started a wine school in what is now, The Inn at Richiș, after the phylloxera epidemic back in 1890 devastated most of the vineyards in the area. They taught the next generation how to graft onto healthy stock and schooled them in the area of pruning so this great industry was reborn and kept surviving. The picture to the right of the bed is the brother of Simon Neman’s, nickname “Lizar”. His wife’s photo is to the left of the bed and their son, dressed in a Hungarian military uniform from The Great War, is on the front wall near the Saxon sofa.
This spacious sized room is decorated with authentic period Saxon – Romanian furnishings, paintings, and handmade tapestries. The Saxon oversized bed with Luxury linens and oversized pillows, is the heart of the room. The room is decorated in soft rose and viridescent decor with wide pine wooden floors and traditional rugs. In order to preserve an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, the rooms are without televisions. There are books scattered throughout the room for your reading pleasure. The large windows add to this bright room allowing a soft morning light. Each window is adorned with full length drapes and sheers. Near the front windows sits a late eighteenth-century large viridescent Saxon sofa with a beautiful inlaid wooden coffee table and two burgundy velveteen stools. All rooms have Luxurious Monogrammed Bathrobes with Slippers, Luxurious Toiletries by Paul Mitchell, Lush Collection of Spa Towels – 100% Shirpur Cotton, Nespresso Coffee Machines, Hair Dryers and Magnified Lighted Makeup Mirrors. There is free internet service throughout the property. Afternoon tea time paired with traditional Transylvanian pasties.

Room 2 – Pinot Gris Room
Located on the ground floor with an entrance from the courtyard. This spacious room includes a generously sized bathroom with a large walk in shower and is named after our popular local white wine from Richiș.
This spacious sized room is decorated with authentic period Saxon – Romanian furnishings, paintings, and handmade tapestries. There is a late eighteenth-century cranberry colored Saxon Sofa with a wooden coffee table and two burgundy velveteen stools and at the foot of the bed sits a wooden trunk dating back to 1796. The room is decorated in cranberry and soft gold decor with wide pine wooden floors and traditional rugs. The Saxon oversized bed with Luxury linens and oversized pillows, is the centerpiece of the room. In order to preserve an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, the rooms are without televisions. There are books scattered throughout the room for your reading pleasure. With large windows this bright room receives a soft morning light. Each window is adorned with full length drapes and sheers. Room 3 – Feteasca Regala Suite
Our Luxury Two Room Suite is more spacious and includes a generously sized private bathroom with a large double sink vanity and large walk in shower. Located on the ground floor with a private entrance from the courtyard, it is named after one of the most popular and flavable red wines from Transylvania
The generously sized Suite is decorated with authentic, period Saxon – Romanian furnishings, paintings, and handmade tapestries. In addition to the oversized Saxon bed with Luxury Linens and oversized pillows, a pair of wingback chairs complete the bedroom. The room is decorated in soft gold and burgundy decor with wide pine wooden floors and traditional rugs. With large windows this bright two room suite offers views of the garden and courtyard. Each window is adorned with full length drapes and sheers.
The spacious second room is a charming space to open a good book and sip on a glass of Transylvanian Feteasca Regala wine. In order to preserve an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, the rooms are without televisions. Books are scattered throughout the suite for your reading pleasure.
